Hi there, sorry for the delay in replying to you we don't check here all that often. As this is a community open source project we have not really documented success stories. However, it is by a wide margin the most used ECM Maturity model globally (it is now also a available through MIKE2.0), and I know that many consultancies both large and small use it extensively.

Hi Myra,
Yes it is albeit voluntarily - however it is now also part of Mike2.0 and there is probably more activity on it there. That said, despite having looked at it a couple of times in the recent past, we have not seen a major need to change it. More likely in future we see it being adopted/adapted for other purposes beyond ECM.

This is a very exciting initiative and I particularly applaud the use of the Creative Commons licensing model. A group of us are involved in a Creative Commons initiative for standardized approaches to Information Management called MIKE2.0 at www.openmethodology.org. We are very interested in ways to connect our initiatives. MIKE2.0 would greatly benefit from linking to this content and I believe ECM3 would similarly benefit from a linkage back.

Love the document.

I couldn't see any easy way to upload comments here, so I've put my comments in a horrible text file over here:
http://jonontech.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/ecmmmfeedback20090403.txt

Also written a blog entry about our experiences here:
http://jonontech.com/2009/04/03/ecm-maturity-model-in-a-nutshell/

Let me know if you'd prefer another format or if any of my ramblings don't make any sense.

I'd love to be able to help.

I think I could make a contribution in developing of ECM3. I.e. add some formal procedure of assessment and calculation.

Thanks,
